GLENN WALTON

PRINCIPAL CONTRACTS AND CLAIMS ADVISOR – RAIL DELIVERY (COMPLEX PROJECTS) 

Glenn is an experienced Senior Commercial Manager and Procurement Specialist with a strong track record in a wide range of senior procurement and contract roles over the course of a 20-year career with NSW rail entities. 

These skills are complemented by early experience in engineering design and construction management of infrastructure, commercial building and fit-out projects.   

Glenn’s experiences are supported by relevant tertiary qualifications – he holds a: 

(i) Bachelor of Engineering (Civil Honours) and a 

(ii) Bachelor of Mathematics (Computer Science), followed by a (iii) Diploma in Accounting (Commercial & Corporate Law). 

During his engagement within government projects, Glenn’s working experience in commercial capacity, including negotiation and management of delivering contracts and third party agreements, to the following:  

- Commercial Manager  for the Automatic Train Protection Project (2+ years);  

- Strategic Procurement & Contracts Manager for the Rail Program Delivery Group (2 years);  

- Project and Procurement Manager for the NovoRail Program Alliance as (5 years); and  

- Procurement  and Contracts Specialist/Project Manager for various Government Rail Entities (10+ years)
