Tony is an experienced and pragmatic professional with a career spanning over 20 years in the energy industry, mainly in electricity, gas, and uranium.
His expertise includes the provision of economic advice directly to the former Treasurer of the Northern Territory, where he had significant involvement in the government’s micro-economic reform agenda within the utility sector, namely the structural separation of the Power and Water Corporation into three Government Owned Corporations.
Tony is adept at delivering of commercial advice, investment and economic analysis and financial modelling supporting generation acquisitions, contract negotiations, infrastructure development, generation and transmission pricing reviews/submissions and retail pricing analysis.
Tony’s blend of economic, econometric and financial attributes makes him a well-equipped professional to deliver quality (deterministic/stochastic) analytical models for decision analysis to meet the needs of our clients.
Tony’s qualifications are tailored towards project and investment analysis, with bachelor’s degrees in Science and Economics, a Masters of Business Administration and a Graduate Certificate in Applied Finance and Investment.
Tony’s other professional activities extend to academia, where he lectures in the subject area of Corporate Finance at Charles Darwin University, on an ongoing basis.
